Yellowstone National Park:

Cody:
Cody, Wyoming, located 52 miles from the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. was founded in 1896 by Colonel William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody. When the Buffalo Bill Dam, located just west of Cody, was completed in 1910, it was the highest dam in the world. The dam has recently been raised by 25 feet. Year-round recreational opportunities are almost limitless in Cody with the surrounding mountains, forest and wilderness areas. Other Cody attractions: Buffalo Bill Historical Center, Cody Nite Rodeo, Foundation for North American Wild Sheep, Cody Mural, Trail Town, Cody Wildlife Exhibit, The Irma Hotel, Historic Downtown District.
